We’re a little more than halfway through with the month of December, which means we’re about halfway through our special December offer for our investors.
A quick reminder for those who haven’t heard: throughout this month, when you transfer in and invest $5,000 in LROs on our platform, we’ll give you a $100 bonus in your GROUNDFLOOR Investor Account, up to $1,000.
So far, this special offer has been extremely popular with our investors, and we’re excited to see more people continue to take advantage of it as we round out 2018.
So how exactly does this promotion work? We’ve compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions about the offer so you’ll know all the details.
Q: Does the $5,000 have to be transferred in and invested in one lump sum?
No. As long as the money you transfer in and invest during the month of December totals $5,000, you are eligible to receive the $100 bonus. Transfers must be initiated and funds must post in December.
Q: If I transfer in $5,000 to my GROUNDFLOOR Investor Account, is that enough to qualify?
No. The bonus only applies when $5,000 is transferred in AND invested in one or more LROs on our platform. Additionally, the money has to be a net transfer in of at least $5,000 - any money you withdraw from your Investor Account will count against the $5,000 requirement.
Q: Is there a limit on how many investor bonuses an investor can receive with this promotion?
Yes. Investors will receive $100 for every new $5,000 transferred in and invested during the month of December, up to a maximum bonus of $1,000.
Q: When will I receive the bonus in my GROUNDFLOOR Investor Account?
The bonuses will be deposited into your account in January in the form of Investor Credit. As such, these bonuses are only able to be reinvested on our platform and are not eligible to be withdrawn as cash.
Q: Am I able to invest the $5,000 in GROUNDFLOOR Notes as well as LROs?
No. The offer only applies to money invested in LROs on our platform.
Q: Is my IRA Account eligible for this promotion?
No. Only transfers into and investments made through individual and business accounts are eligible for this special offer.
