Reflecting on Our Annual All Hands Event: Groundfloor’s Vision in Action

Last week, Groundfloor came together in Atlanta for our annual All Hands Event, bringing team members from across the country into one room, beyond screens and Slack channels. We came together to inspire, collaborate, and connect with where we’ve been, where we’re going, and how we’re going to get there.

Empowering Connections: Women of Groundfloor

Our Women of Groundfloor group kicked off the week with a powerful self-defense class on Monday evening. It was an opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence, and bond in an environment that emphasized support and growth. It set the tone for what would be an event full of collaboration and action.

Day One: Building Connections and Charting Our Path

Tuesday was all about alignment, collaboration, and forward thinking. We reflected on our successes in 2024 and unpacked the lessons from our missteps, turning them into opportunities for growth. Together, we redefined our goals for 2025, ensuring our vision and mission—to make private market investing accessible to everyone—remain the guiding forces behind everything we do.

From team-building activities to open conversations, the day highlighted the collective creativity and camaraderie that make Groundfloor that define Groundfloor's innovative culture. Many of us met coworkers in person for the first time, making those meaningful moments of connection whether over sharing ideas or simply grabbing lunch.

Tuesday wasn’t just about reaffirming our goals; it was about actively shaping the roadmap to 2025 and beyond, leveraging our collective strengths to propel us forward.

Day Two: Grounding Ourselves in Community

On Wednesday, we took that spirit of collaboration into the community that has been home to Groundfloor’s growth and innovation. Splitting into groups, our teams partnered with incredible Atlanta-based organizations making a tangible difference in their communities and align with our values:

LostNFound
Lost-N-Found Youth: Supporting Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ youth by helping provide resources and care.

PAWS Atlanta
PAWS Atlanta: Lending a hand to an animal rescue shelter that brings joy and companionship to countless families.

Scraplanta
Scraplanta: Encouraging sustainable creativity by working with a nonprofit dedicated to reusing art supplies.

Open Hand
Open Hand Atlanta: Helping in the preparation and delivery of meals to those in need.

Atlanta Food Bank
Atlanta Community Food Bank: Fighting food insecurity by supporting efforts to nourish communities.

Atlanta Mission
Atlanta Mission: Serving individuals facing homelessness and helping them build pathways to independence.

These volunteer experiences served as a powerful reminder of the impact we can make; not just as a company, but as individuals united by a shared purpose.

Looking Ahead

As we wrapped up the week, one thing was clear: Groundfloor is fueled by the people who believe in our mission and live it every day. This All Hands wasn’t just a chance to realign. It was a reminder of how far we’ve come and where we’re headed together.

Groundfloor’s vision has always been about breaking barriers, challenging the status quo, and building opportunities for our investors. This week has reinforced that our greatest asset in achieving our vision is our people.

Whether through building confidence through a self-defense class, fostering teamwork through brainstorming sessions, or making an impact on the local community, we leave this week aligned on the next steps and deeply inspired to bring our mission to life in new, meaningful ways in 2025.

To our team, investors, and community: Thank you for being a part of this journey. Here’s to breaking barriers and building opportunities—together.
